WHAT?
The program consists of video screenings, performances, music & diverse artworks at the group exhibition.
Our intention is to create an inclusive safe space for multicultural exchange, artivism, environmental awareness & connection in a distant society to reflect on the pandemic in a retrospective.
Most artworks were created by participants of the Upcycling Artivism Workshop by Sara*Hawy.
The exhibition catalog with all Artivists* will be visible through scanning a QR Code in the exhibition space.
Our intention of the workshop was to create more awareness about environmental pollution through eco-friendly art production.
We showed how to re-use , upcycle & modify already existing materials to avoid more pollution & unite groups of people to share their skills, techniques and knowledge with analogue and digital tools with others.
The goal was to create an interactive project where we could transform ourselves into more sustainable humans and artivists and learn how to express ourselves in creative ways.
Through the collective and participative experience we exchanged, evolved mindsets and techniques that lead to new experimental artworks that will be presented as a group exhibition format.
We turned trash into art installations, fashion design, mixed media art, paintings and more.
Topics such as isolation, distance, solidarity, longing, consumerism, fear, oppression, migration, revolution, environmental awareness are processed performatively. Everyone is welcome to participate in the interactive work process to deal with the consequences of the pandemic and times of crisis.
The interactive performance will fuse sound, video screenings performative actions to visualize dystopian & utopian visions of the future. This creates a fantastic & critical world view, intended to stimulate the audience to think and act.

MUTFLUENCER*INNEN FILMSCREENING
Das Projekt Mutfluencer*innen gibt Jugendlichen und jungen Erwachsenen den Raum und die Unterstützung ihre eigenen Ideen und Projekte zum Thema Covid-19 bzw. den Folgen der Pandemie umzusetzen. Dabei sind bis Ende April 2022 auch einige Kurzfilme entstanden, die am 9.6. im Spektakel Wien zu sehen sind:
